morgan & erica's desert f.u.n. wedding
Elysa & sarah's joshua tree wedding weekend
Liza & Rubèn's Australian rainforest wedding
Liza & Rubèn's invitation suite is inspired by two places of great importance to the couple: their wedding location in the Dandenongs—a tree-fern and eucaluptus forest in Victoria, Australia, near Liza's family home—and Catalonia, Spain, where Rubèn grew up and where the pair met. Sunlight streams through fern-draped trees on their invitations, thank you cards, and ceremony programs, which were printed in both English and Catalan.
Invitation ensemble, thank you cards, programs, guest book. Letterpress on 100% cotton paper; lace-lined envelopes; hand-bound, letterpress-printed ceremony programs; hand-bound guest book with 100% cotton paper with deckle edge.
alyssa & jeremy's nature-inspired, organic, modern ketubah
Alyssa wanted her ketubah to be nature-inspired, colorful, and modern. Featuring organic florals in a palette of six complementary colors framing a Conservative Hebrew text, the letterpressed ketubah has room for three witnesses as well as the bride, groom, and rabbi to sign.
Six-color letterpressed ketubah on cotton paper. 15x19 inches.
robert & diane's 50th anniversary reimagined wedding album
Robert and Diane's daughter Suzanne approached me to design, print, and bind an updated wedding album and custom box for their 50th anniversary. Using the original photos from their 1965 album, which was falling apart, we designed an elegant, oversized photo album with deckle-edged pages; black silk and gold mohair bookcloth; and an inset, letterpress-printed nameplate on the cover. The album is housed in a custom-made box with magnet closure.
nora & sam's sunny and modern ketubah
"We wanted something that was not overtly Jewish since Sam is not and something we could frame and hang in the house as a piece of art as well as a ketubah."
When Nora and I first spoke about her ketubah, she and her fiancé, Sam, were planning to wed on his parent's property under an old-growth tree in the back yard. Though they ultimately decided to have the wedding at another outdoor venue, I kept the motif of two branches of a cypress tree—noted for its strength and durability— joining in union as the cental image for this custom-designed and hand-printed marriage contract.
Hand-pulled lithograph and relief print with hand-painted watercolor background on 100% cotton rag paper, custom portfolio case.
leah & jason's polka dot, photo album guest book
Polka dots. Bright colors. Opens flat.
Leah gave me these three parameters and then let me go wild in designing and binding her custom wedding guest book. Tall and narrow to accommodate picture strips from the wedding reception photo booth, the guest book was provided with archival adhesive for guests to add their photos and colorful markers for them to leave their well-wishes for the couple.

maija & matthew's classy-yet-understated guest book
Gold-on-cream letterpress text and sumptuous, champagne-colored, silk bookcloth combine to give this custom guest book for a black-tie, New Year's Eve wedding a classy-yet-understated elegance.
Handbound guest book with inset letterpressed nameplate. Silk bookcloth, 100% cotton rag paper and rice paper.
casey & joel's shared memories gift book
This custom book was a present to Casey from her bridesmaids, as a token of their love for her as a friend, their shared memories together, and their wishes for her new life with Joel. Each of the bridesmaids sent photographs, remembrances of time spent together, and favorite recipes. The refined-yet-rustic materials and design of the one-of-a-kind book was influenced by the bridesmaids' dress colors and Casey's aesthetic as a DIY enthusiast, farmer, and craftsperson.
